Exterior Modeling Process

➤ Confirm the product functionality and disassembled parts.
➤ List all the elements and design the PCB board.
➤ Export ID wireframe and start modeling.
➤ Analysis of structural parts.

1. The structural design should be simple enough. During disassembly, consider how to design the structure of each part.
2. Better to be easy assembled. Consider how to assemble it well.
3. Take injection and tooling into account.
4. Consider mold demolding and injection molding.
5. Exporting STEP file to ID engineers to come up with renderings.

Mechanical Design

➤ Complete the PCB configuration or component specifications.
➤ Design Brainstorm ⏰1D
➤ Considering the cost of mechanical design, decrease the number of mold sets.
➤ The design is completed and sent to the mold factory for another review, sent to the structural engineer for review as well, and output the report.

Mockup Sample Make

➤ Check the number of pieces of drawings and the process of the outgoing drawing is correct.
➤ Deliver the requirements and filming template to the factory.
➤ Confirm the delivery of the PCB or the object, and the completion time of the prototype sample.

Pilot Run

➤ Confirm the 3D drawing of the casting mold, the schedule of the whole machine, BOM list.
➤ Spraying area, technique process documents sent to the mold factory.
➤ Follow up on the process and confirm the schedule. Check if anything goes wrong.
➤ T0 Plastic shell material review: whether it conforms to 3D drawings, whether it conforms to plastic shell material data Review plastic shell material assembly, gap, break difference, shrinkage, air lines.
➤ Signing sample: structure sample and color sample (need to write structure sample, time, person in charge signature on the sample).

First MP

➤ Production schedule: how many units are expected to be loaded per day, and the order completion time.
➤ Incoming material abnormality, production line whole machine abnormality.
➤ How much material is put into the production line every day, how much output of the whole machine How many people are involved, and what are the problems might be?
➤ Daily Material Inventory.
The purpose is to ensure that there is enough material for the next day’s assembly

Packaging Design

You need two things: a device with wireless charging capability and a compatible wireless charger. Plug the charger into a wall outlet and place your device on it to power up. It’s that simple.

If you have a wireless charger from latest phone, your smartphone must be Qi (pronounced “chee”) compatible.

Look for a logo on the device or its packaging.

The icon is easy to identify.

It depends on the device.

The Droid Turbo 2 by Motorola, for example, can be charged wirelessly with any case on, but some older smartphones require a special device-specific wireless charging back cover (sometimes called an inductive charging cover).

You can find this information in your device manual.

Despite the name, there is one wire involved: You must plug the charger into a wall outlet. But there’s no wire between the charger and your phone. Just place your phone on the charging pad and watch your device juice up. An indicator light lets you know when it’s charging.

Under the fast charging mode, the phone can be fully charged in 3 – 3.5 hours normally (Testing device: Samsung galaxy S8)

First, the wall charger must be match QC 3.0 or above; Second, the phone must support Qi wireless fast charging function.

Charging with the phone case on or not placing the phone correctly on the center of the wireless charger may cause issues.

Works with most kinds of cases like rubber case, hybrid case, plastic TPU, PC cases;

Do not support OTTERBOX cases or any other cases with metal or magnets, as they will influence the charging speed and may result in intermittent or discontinued charging.

Charging with the phone case on, connecting to a low voltage device (like a PC USB port or slow AC adapter), or not using the provided micro USB cable may cause issues.

All these may lower the wireless charging speed.

Phone will stop charging and flash by blue and green alternately if there are objects with metal or magnetic.

Charging with phone case on may cause a heating problem.
